Roosendaal, 30 July 2020
Sustainable investment
Jan de Rijk Logistics has commissioned ten new DAF’s XF 450 FT 4×2 low deck truck SSC. With these trucks, Jan de Rijk Logistics can increase efficiency and reduce the environmental impact.
“In line with our strategy, we want to lead the way with a young and efficient fleet.”, said Fred Westdijk, CEO Jan de Rijk Logistics. “Jan de Rijk Logistics is a strong company that continues to invest consistently in efficiency, sustainability and the development of its employees. This ensures that we are always able to provide the high service levels that our customers can expect from us.”
The ten delivered trucks are part of a larger order of 54 units, which was recently placed by Jan de Rijk Logistics at the DAF dealer of Tilburg Bastianen DAF B.V. in Roosendaal.
Jan de Rijk Logistics uses the vehicles for international transport, for instance to serve the aviation industry.
The trucks are equipped with a EURO 6 MX 11, 450 hp engine that is both economical and environmentally friendly. Optimum performance can be achieved in combination with the standard mounted TraXon automatic gearbox.
