As a Mendix Developer, you design, develop and maintain business applications on the Mendix platform. Your work contributes to the digitalisation of Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay processes, with applications for both customers and internal users.

• Design, develop and maintain Mendix applications.
• Translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Improve and digitalise Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Develop customer-facing portals and digital services.
• Build internal tools that support operational and administrative processes.
• Create integrations with business applications, APIs, data sources and external systems.
• Maintain application documentation.
• Advise business stakeholders on digitalisation and process optimisation.

A typical day might start with developing or improving a Mendix application. Later, you work on an integration or translate a business requirement into a technical solution. You may also discuss opportunities for process optimisation with a stakeholder before documenting the changes you have made. 

You can join us at junior, medior or senior level. You do not need to be someone who constantly seeks interaction with the business, although you should be able to work effectively with stakeholders when the role requires it.

• HBO level of working and thinking.
• Some practical experience with Mendix development is required.
• Knowledge of application integrations, APIs and data sources.
• Experience with software development and testing.
• An affinity with business processes and digitalisation.
• Good command of English.
• An analytical and solution-oriented approach.
• The ability to work proactively and independently.
• A customer- and service-oriented mindset.
• A focus on results, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Dutch is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Where will you work?
You will work at Jan de Rijk Logistics in Roosendaal. Mendix plays an important role in the digitalisation of business processes, including Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay. In your role, you work independently on applications and solutions while also interacting with business stakeholders when needed. This is a hybrid position, allowing you to combine working from the office with working from home.
