Roosendaal 26-07-2024 – At Jan de Rijk Logistics, we’re pleased to share some exciting news from our team in Italy and our Aerospace unit. These updates reflect our ongoing growth, innovation, and commitment to providing excellent service.

Italy: Our team in Italy recently wrapped up a special project for one of our valued clients, SMEG. On Tuesday, June 25th, we had the pleasure of hosting the management team from SMEG Netherlands to officially launch their specially branded trailer. Isn’t it a beauty? This unique touch not only strengthens our partnership but also shows our ability to offer personalized services.

Since last year, SMEG has been a customer of Jan de Rijk Logistics International Transport. They are growing rapidly in Europe, with a revenue of about 1 billion euros last year. We primarily serve SMEG from Italy to the Netherlands, France, and Belgium, both intermodally and by road. By integrating the client’s brand into our fleet, we enhance their visibility and foster a sense of collaboration.

We congratulate our team in Italy on their great performance over the past year.

Aerospace: Our Aerospace unit has recently expanded its operations with two new Mercedes trucks. These modern vehicles are designed to handle the tough demands of transporting sensitive aerospace components. The new trucks not only increase our fleet’s capacity but also improve the reliability and efficiency of our services. This investment shows our dedication to maintaining high standards in logistics and supporting the precise needs of the aerospace industry.
