Do you get energy from hands-on craftsmanship and creating custom-made packaging for valuable machines? As a Carpenter Industrial Packaging in Eindhoven, you build specialist wooden crates in different sizes, from small custom packaging to crates up to eight metres long. This is one-off, custom work rather than mass production, and a carpentry diploma is not required.

CARPENTER INDUSTRIAL PACKAGING (32 – 40 HOURS

You will work in the packing department, where specialist industrial packaging is made to measure for high-value machines.

Build wooden crates and specialist industrial packaging.
Create packaging in different sizes, including crates up to eight metres long.Produce each crate to measure for the machine that needs to be packed.
Work on individual pieces rather than mass production.
Carry out practical woodworking activities involved in building the crates.

A typical day starts between 07:00 and 08:00, depending on your agreed starting time. During the day, you build custom crates for different machines. Because the dimensions vary, your work ranges from smaller packaging to very large crates. This makes each assignment different.

You do not need a formal carpentry diploma for this position. What matters is that you are comfortable with practical woodworking and custom-made work.

You can communicate in English.
You are available for 32 to 40 hours per week.

Where will you work?

You will work in the packing department of Jan Tromp Transportgroep in Eindhoven. The department focuses on specialist industrial packaging for high-value machines. You work during the day, with a flexible starting time between 07:00 and 08:00.

A salary between €2600 and €3400 gross per month.
A position for 32 to 40 hours per week.
Day shifts with a flexible starting time between 07:00 and 08:00.
8% holiday allowance.
27.5 days of annual leave.
The possibility to purchase 18 additional days of annual leave.
Pension.
Salary payment every four weeks.
